The Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center just completed a multi-million dollar, 12,000 sq. ft. renovation and you don't want to miss it!
Do you have the skills to pilot the Space Shuttle? Let your imagination take flight as you visit the Virginia Air and Space Museum, located just 35 minutes from the beach!

Home to several great sporting events like the East Coast Surfing Championships, the North American Sand Soccer Championship and the Rock and Roll Half Marathon, our beach hosts some of the finest sport competitions along the East Coast.
Each year the East Coast Surfing Championships gets bigger and better. The event has officially been renamed Coastal Edge ECSC and promoters are excited to bring more sport attractions to the table along with expanding the array of activities to five full days.
Coastal Edge is Tidewater's leading surf and skate retailer. They will be working in conjunction with Vans and Monster Energy to put on the best East Coast Surfing Championships Tidewater has ever seen!
Amphitheater
How about a great night out listening to your favorite musicians while enjoying the beautiful weather? Check out the Verizon Amphitheater! This outdoor venue doesn't take a backseat to anyone.
Choose your seating area. You can't go wrong. The main seating is under a canopied roof and allows you to get up close and personal with your favorite musicians. The lawn area is perfect for bringing a nice blanket and hanging out with friends. The Verizon Amphitheater rents lawn chairs too.
Don't worry about the view from the lawn area! There are two huge screens that project everything going on stage. You won't miss a thing and the lawn seats have a great price.
Colonial Williamsburg
Ready for a great day trip? Be sure to visit Williamsburg, VA. It's the site of the first permanent English settlement, Colonial Williamsburg, and boasts historical attractions like the Governor's Palace and the Capitol, along with a variety of museums and great theme parks like Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.
