Virginia Beach Attractions
Busch Gardens Virginia
I was a pretty lucky kid. My brother and I grew up less than one hour away from Busch Gardens Virginia in they city of Virginia Beach, VA. With six fantastic thrill rides, on-site concerts, award winning shows and the new Sesame Street Forest of Fun, there is something for every age group to enjoy.
Loch Ness Monster Sightings
The Loch Ness Monster roller coaster has been a part of my life since the early 1980's. Opening in 1978, the Loch Ness Monster was the tallest roller coaster in the world and hit speeds of 60 mph. The ride is fast and smooth and sports two interlocking loops and a tunnel filled with mist. Thirty years later, the Loch Ness Monster roller coaster is still a favorite for park visitors and is considered one the greatest classic roller coasters of all times.
I remember racing with Jimmy down the exit ramp as soon as we finished the ride so we could get right back in line and do it again. Our parents were fearless and jumped on every ride with us. Busch Gardens holds a lot of great memories for me and my family.
