Busch Gardens Virginia
Santa Claus is coming to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Each year the entire amusement park is transformed into the winter wonderland of Christmas Town. Six million lights twinkle and wrap the theme park in the magic of the holiday season.
Revamping the park takes three full weeks and preparations begin right after Howl-O-Scream wraps up.
Grab a hot cup of cocoa or apple cider and climb aboard Jingle Junction. The train ride is a great way to get from one end of the entertainment gardens to the other while enjoying all the holiday decorations.
Santa's magic transforms the thrill ride Mach Tower into Nacht Tower, where guests are slowly raised 240 feet in the air to get a spectacular overview of Christmas Town. Instead of plunging straight down at high speeds, Nacht Tower riders will be gently lowered back to the ground allowing plenty of time to take in all of the lights and festivities throughout the amusement park.
Enjoy Mistletoe Marketplace, Penguin Paradise, and Santa's Workshop. There are live holiday performances, Christmas gifts galore and plenty of sweets and treats! Weather permitting, more than 20 rides operate during this event.
Busch Gardens kicks off the winter festival around the third weekend of November and the celebrations come to a grand finale December 31st.
Here is my favorite little elf **trying** to get into the Christmas spirit! I wonder if Jimboo might be able to get a job in ChristmasTown?
Jimboo!! Your mommy loves you!!
